Job Summary

This critical role as an Electrical Grid Controller involves ensuring the safe and reliable electricity supply for the city of Potsdam. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing switching and control procedures in remote-controlled medium and high-voltage systems, continuously monitoring network operations, and analyzing and optimizing network processes. A core function is proactive fault management, including coordinating switching actions to isolate disturbances and restore supply, even in critical situations. You will also be responsible for managing and updating switching statuses and evaluating measurement data within the PRINS network control system. Candidates must possess a completed electrical engineering qualification (Technician, Master Electrician, or Bachelor's degree) and ideally have professional experience with high-voltage networks or high-current monitoring, along with the readiness to work in a continuous three-shift rotation.
