Job Summary
This critical role supports the Hessen Agentur in expanding state-wide data management and digitizing tourism offerings across Hesse. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a state-wide data collection strategy in collaboration with various partners. Day-to-day tasks involve creating destination-specific concepts for data management, coordinating the collection and analysis of tourism data from diverse systems, and supporting the operation and development of the 'Tourism-Hub Hesse.' The manager will also select and introduce digital tools for data collection, provide consulting and training to destination staff, and manage project planning and budgets. Applicants must hold a relevant degree in fields like Tourism Management or Digitalization and demonstrate experience in steering complex IT and digitalization projects, particularly within the tourism sector.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree focusing on Tourism Management, Digitalization, Media/Data Management, or comparable qualifications
Experience
- Experience in the development, steering, and implementation of IT and digitalization projects
- Experience working with tourism organizations, municipalities, and service providers
- Professional experience in agile project management (e.g., SCRUM) (Desirable)
