This Postdoctoral Researcher position, located at the Institute of Physiology, focuses on the electrophysiological characterization of ligand-gated ion channels, specifically Acid-Sensing Ion Channels (ASICs). The role involves daily laboratory work utilizing advanced techniques such as Patch-Clamp electrophysiology on cell lines (HEK293) and primary neurons, potentially including slice recordings. Key responsibilities also encompass cell culture, transfections, and subcellular imaging (Ca2+ and pH imaging). Candidates must hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or M.D.) and possess practical experience in ion channel electrophysiology or cell biology/microscopy.
