Job Summary

This role as an Energy Management Expert is crucial for the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund's strategic shift toward an ecologically and economically sustainable property portfolio. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the conceptualization and long-term implementation of the environmental and energy management system (EMAS) across all properties. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing energy saving potentials, developing concrete CO2 reduction strategies in collaboration with building management teams, and evaluating the integration of renewable energy sources. A key responsibility is preparing detailed economic feasibility studies and decision-making documents for major energy-related investments. This position requires a completed university degree in Engineering Sciences and several years of experience in building technology and energy management, ideally coupled with knowledge of ISO 50001 or EMAS.
