Job Summary
This role involves actively monitoring and managing traffic flow in the greater Vienna area, including construction sites and rest stops, with a focus on both tunnel and open-road environments. The technician will be responsible for initiating immediate measures during traffic incidents and disturbances, supporting emergency services, and overseeing the resolution of technical system malfunctions. A key aspect of the role is contributing to the creation of traffic information. Candidates should possess a background in electrical engineering or relevant professional experience, ideally with knowledge in process control, automation, or telecommunications.
