Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role based in Essen requires a dedicated professional to manage the complete lifecycle of network connection projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing site requirements for connection feasibility, obtaining and meticulously reviewing network connection offers from local operators, and skillfully negotiating the associated contracts, focusing on both technical and economic parameters. A key function involves coordinating the technical implementation across diverse internal and external stakeholders, including civil engineering companies, project developers, and regulatory authorities. The successful candidate must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Economics, or a related field, and possess proven experience in dealing with network operators and technical connection processes. Strong project management competence, negotiation skills, and knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (like EnWG and NAV) are essential for documenting, reporting, and strategically advancing connection processes.
