Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of Public Transport (ÖPNV) acceleration systems across more than 200 traffic light signaling systems within the Augsburg transport network. The successful candidate will analyze processes at traffic junctions involving public transport and guarantee loss-free prioritization of ÖPNV vehicles through functional detection technology. Key daily tasks include troubleshooting and repairing defective electronic components and assemblies of the ÖPNV detection technology at the circuit level, requiring a high degree of precision and safety orientation. Candidates must possess a completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or equivalent Master Craftsman/Technician qualification in the electrical trade, coupled with extensive professional experience in repairing electronic assemblies and reading circuit diagrams.
