Job Summary
This crucial role involves managing the full lifecycle of grant funding and enhancing the organization's public image within the non-profit sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and analyzing suitable funding programs (EU, Federal, State, Municipal), independently preparing grant applications, project conceptualization, budgeting, and comprehensive grant administration, including reporting and disbursement requests. Concurrently, the officer will lead public relations efforts, managing and developing the website, handling social media channels, creating multimedia content (text, image, video), and organizing public events and career fair appearances. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant degree, multi-year experience in grant management, particularly with ESF/ESF+ projects, and proven skills in communication, content creation, and using digital tools like CMS and graphic design software. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Economics, Administration, Social Sciences, Communication Sciences, or comparable field
Experience
- Multi-year experience in grant management, especially with ESF/ESF+ projects
- Professional experience in public relations/communication, ideally in the non-profit or social sector
- Fundamentally sound knowledge of the relevant funding landscape in Thuringia, at the federal, and EU level
