Job Summary
The Media Technician will play a crucial role in a university innovation project focused on developing future-oriented teaching and learning architectures, specifically supporting the creation of adaptive physical, digital, and hybrid learning environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and evolving the technical setup of the video studio and media equipment, supporting the development of digital and hybrid teaching formats, and assisting with media-heavy events. The role requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team, providing support and training to students and faculty on media competence, including tools for image, video, and audio editing, and presentation technology. Candidates must have at least three years of relevant professional experience in media technology or media informatics, coupled with a Bachelor's degree or a three-year vocational qualification in the IT media technology sector, and fluent German language skills are mandatory.
