Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Support Engineer to be the primary point of contact for technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within a global company based in Cologne. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing crucial First and Second-Level support, managing the internal helpdesk for hardware and software issues, and maintaining the Microsoft-based system landscape, including Windows Server administration (2003–2016) and Office 365 configuration. You will also be responsible for installing Windows systems, managing infrastructure documentation, and assisting with the technical setup of new stores. The ideal candidate holds vocational training in IT System Integration or equivalent, possesses strong skills in PowerShell, LAN/WLAN, and IT security, and demonstrates excellent communication in both German and English. Required Skills

Education

Vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in providing First and Second-Level IT support
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows Servers (2003–2016)
  • Professional experience working with LAN, WLAN, and IT security protocols
  • Professional experience managing a Microsoft-based system landscape
