Job Summary
This Senior Linux Administrator role involves the comprehensive administration, planning, and operation of critical IT systems within a Linux environment, primarily utilizing Ubuntu/Debian distributions. Key responsibilities include automating essential processes such as data storage, processing, transfer, and backup across Linux systems. The administrator will also manage the operation and data integrity of the dedicated digitalization server and handle the installation, configuration, and maintenance of specialized text recognition tools vital for the automated capture and digitization of historical works and writings. The ideal candidate possesses qualifications gained through IT training, professional experience, or university study, coupled with profound knowledge of Linux installation and configuration (server and client).
