Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position as an HVAC and Plumbing Engineer involves acting as the client representative and project manager for the county's construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion. Key responsibilities include the independent planning, execution, and oversight of sustainable construction and maintenance measures focusing on heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems. You will manage the entire procurement process, including drafting specifications, reviewing bids, handling invoicing, and conducting final acceptance tests and handovers to users. This role requires a degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in HVAC/Plumbing Engineering or a related field, coupled with professional experience in construction project management and a strong command of relevant German technical regulations (VOB, HOAI). The position offers high levels of responsibility, varied projects (primarily school and administrative buildings), flexible working arrangements, and the potential for transition into a civil service status.
