Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Laboratory Associate to join the Microbiology R&D team, focusing primarily on the independent execution of method verifications critical for pharmaceutical Quality Control (QC). Day-to-day responsibilities include performing complex microbiological tests such as viable count determination, sterility testing, and endotoxin assays. A key component of the role involves meticulous planning and independent execution of experiments, alongside creating comprehensive accompanying documentation (test plans and reports) in both English and German. The associate will also support the establishment of new methods and contribute to special projects, including disinfectant studies and specialized microbiological investigations. The ideal candidate holds a scientific qualification (e.g., B.Sc. Biology or Laboratory Technician certification) and brings a minimum of two years of routine professional experience in a GMP-regulated microbiological environment. Success requires excellent organizational skills, familiarity with GxP/Ph. Eur./USP regulations, and fluency in both German and English. Experience

  • Minimum two years of professional experience in a microbiological, GMP-regulated environment
  • Routine professional experience in core microbiological methods (cultivation, viable count determination, aseptic work)
  • Experience in conducting product-specific suitability tests according to Ph. Eur. and USP (Preferred)
