Job Summary

The State of Berlin is seeking a Project Advisor to establish and manage a Central Coordination Office for EU Funding Management at its Brussels office. This role serves as the central point of contact for EU funding (excluding Structural Funds) on the European level. Key responsibilities include representing the funding interests of various Berlin Senate administrations and districts within European networks focused on EU funding acquisition, such as ERRIN. Day-to-day tasks involve active participation in relevant European meetings and events, identifying cutting-edge model projects in fields like research, innovation, digitalization, environment, and climate protection, and synthesizing complex technical information from the European Commission regarding key EU programs like Horizon Europe and EU-Interreg. The ideal candidate must hold a completed Master's degree or equivalent in Law, Economics, Finance, Administration, or Political Science. This is a crucial, project-based position, limited until the end of 2027, requiring the successful applicant to maintain their primary residence in Germany.
