Job Summary

This role seeks a qualified Commissioning Engineer to actively shape the future of mobility by joining one of Germany's largest and most renowned rail vehicle manufacturers. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting rigorous testing and establishing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic functions on modern rail vehicles according to detailed instructions. A core component of the job is complex troubleshooting, analyzing faults using circuit diagrams, specifications, and technical drawings, covering electrical, pneumatic, software, and climate systems. You will also be responsible for meticulous documentation, creating protocols and error lists, and contributing to process optimization. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electronics Technician with further training as an Electrical Engineer or equivalent, possesses experience with electrically active components, and is comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
