Job Summary
This role requires a Food Chemist to provide expert evaluation of microbiological and chemical analyses concerning food, drinking water, and bathing water. Key daily tasks involve drafting formal expert opinions, test reports, and statements ensuring strict adherence to current legal frameworks, such as the Austrian Food Code and Drinking Water Ordinance. The position involves extensive client consultation, advising food businesses and institutions on hygiene measures and regulatory compliance. Candidates must hold a completed degree in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related scientific field, possess strong analytical skills, and be proficient in MS Office, ideally including LIMS. The position offers a responsible, permanent role in the vital intersection of science, law, and practice, including opportunities for professional development and training as an expert witness.

Experience
- • Professional experience in evaluating hygienic-microbiological findings in the food or water sector (advantageous)
