Job Summary

This role offers a committed student the opportunity to participate in the technological evolution of the automotive semiconductor industry by supporting the Infineon Automotive team in Villach. The primary focus is assisting in the design, development, and optimization of robust data pipelines specifically for technical documentation. Day-to-day tasks involve leveraging strong Python and shell scripting skills to automate data extraction, transformation, and integration, often accessing data via various system APIs. You will also play a key support role in maintaining CI/CD workflows utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Jira, and collaborate on exciting AI-driven solutions such as text summarization and information extraction to streamline cross-departmental processes. This position requires a motivated student currently enrolled in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, who possesses a basic understanding of automation workflows and familiarity with Git-based version control. This is a minimum 6-month temporary, full-time role offering flexible working hours, providing invaluable experience in a high-tech environment.

Required Skills

Education

Current enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree program (Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems)

Experience

  • Current enrollment as a student in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field
  • Professional experience demonstrating strong programming skills in Python
  • Basic understanding of data pipelines, APIs, or automation workflows
  • Familiarity with Git-based version control systems (GitHub/Bitbucket)
