Job Summary

This role as a Civil Engineer focuses on the crucial infrastructure development for fiber optic cabling in residential blocks for major telecommunications companies. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent, on-site execution of excavation and routing surveys across Carinthia, Austria, ensuring meticulous digital documentation of all findings using a dedicated app. A significant part of the job involves proactive telephone coordination and scheduling with property managers and owners to facilitate these surveys, culminating in the finalization of necessary right-of-way agreements directly on site. The ideal candidate possesses foundational technical knowledge in electrical and/or underground civil engineering, coupled with excellent communication skills and MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel. This position offers autonomous work within a small, collaborative team environment, requiring a highly structured, self-organized, and hands-on professional dedicated to maintaining high quality standards in critical infrastructure projects.
