Job Summary

This role involves supporting the development and maintenance of common services for Airbus Defence and Space. Key responsibilities include onboarding into existing Linux system configurations and middleware solutions, supporting the team in implementing new software requirements, and ensuring system security by hardening the platform against IT security threats. The engineer will independently integrate and test developed components and contribute to necessary documentation and verification processes. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, coupled with strong knowledge of the Linux operating system. Desirable technical experience includes working with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, and development skills in Java and C/C++ based applications, as well as scripting languages (bash, perl).
