Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing sophisticated PLC programs tailored for complex industrial plants and specialized machinery, ensuring peak process safety and efficiency. A core part of the role involves integrating diverse components such as drive technology, sensor systems, robotics, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) visualization into cohesive overall systems. You will manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and programming through to final acceptance and documentation. This includes conducting essential commissioning activities both internally and occasionally at customer sites. You will also collaborate closely with electrical planning, mechanical engineering, and customer service teams, contributing your expertise to the continuous improvement of existing systems. This permanent position offers continuous professional development within a large, established engineering service provider, allowing you to actively shape technological progress across various industries.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming
- Experience in commissioning machinery or plants
- Good understanding of industrial processes and technical contexts

- Willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
