Job Summary
The GMA-Werkstoffprüfung GmbH is seeking a qualified Chemical Laboratory Technician to join their team in Nordenham starting February 1, 2026. This role is central to quality assurance and material testing, involving the execution of various demanding chemical and physical-chemical tests. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing titration analysis, ion chromatography, spectrophotometry, and optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The technician will also be responsible for conducting corrosion and elemental analyses using hot carrier gas extraction and combustion analysis. A key part of the job involves creating detailed testing instructions for the analytical procedures used and collaborating on proficiency testing within the scope of DAkkS accreditation. The ideal candidate holds a degree or certification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or equivalent Bachelor's degree, possesses practical experience with standard laboratory equipment and analytical devices, and demonstrates a precise, reliable, and team-oriented work ethic.

Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or comparable Bachelor's degree
Experience
- Experience in handling laboratory equipment (scales, pipettes, working in fume hoods, etc.)
- Experienced handling of chemical analysis devices
- Knowledge of titration and wet chemistry
- Experience in paint and corrosion protection testing (advantageous)
