Job Summary

This FPGA Designer role involves taking technology solutions to the next level by focusing on the conception, further development, and maintenance of FPGA designs. The professional will support circuit design for FPGA-based systems and collaborate on cross-team concepts for implementing partial functions using FPGAs. Key responsibilities include managing external FPGA development service providers, commissioning hardware prototypes in close cooperation with development teams and partners, and implementing advanced image processing algorithms and high-speed communication protocols on FPGAs. Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with relevant experience in FPGA development. Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog, familiarity with Xilinx FPGAs and simulation tools like ModelSim, and programming skills in Python for developing commissioning and test tools are essential.
