Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Automotive E/E Development Engineer focused on complex projects for major automotive clients, specifically on behalf of BMW AG. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the full lifecycle development and specification of electrical/electronic architectures, control units (ECUs), and vehicle components. You will analyze technical requirements, design, simulate, and integrate electronic systems, and rigorously test their functionality and reliability within the vehicle. A critical component of the role is ensuring strict compliance with stringent industry standards, including ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ASPICE. Candidates must hold a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or Computer Science and possess professional experience in E/E system development, coupled with strong analytical skills and proficiency in both German and English to collaborate effectively in international, interdisciplinary teams.
