Job Summary
Join the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) in Bern to manage and implement Switzerland's international sanctions regime. This critical role involves processing all matters related to sanctions enforcement, responding to complex inquiries from governmental bodies and private companies, and ensuring compliance with international mandates from the UNO and the EU. You will be instrumental in drafting and updating necessary legal frameworks, including ordinances and annexes, and contributing conceptually to the embargo policy area. The position requires a Master's degree and a strong interest in economic, legal, and political issues. While the work is highly technical and policy-focused, demanding independence and responsibility, candidates must possess excellent communication skills in two official Swiss languages, alongside very good English skills, essential for liaising with international contacts.
