Job Summary

This role involves the technical planning and continuous operation of critical firewall solutions within Komm.ONE, the largest municipal IT service provider in Baden-Württemberg. The Network Security Administrator will be responsible for the full lifecycle administration of these solutions, including installation, configuration, testing, and complex troubleshooting. A key focus will be on increasing efficiency through the automation of recurring tasks and integrating these improvements into existing processes. Furthermore, the administrator will conduct market analysis to introduce new, cutting-edge security technologies and provide essential Second and Third Level Support for firewall environments. Candidates should possess a degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science, or vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience and initial exposure to ITIL V3 service management. This position offers an unlimited contract, flexible working models, and the stability of public service.
