Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position within the Communal Real Estate Service (KIS) of Potsdam involves managing and executing maintenance and construction services for electrical and building systems across 450 municipal properties, including schools and administrative buildings. The specialist will be responsible for planning and organizing maintenance based on regular condition assessments, ensuring compliance with operator obligations and traffic safety requirements, and managing the entire procurement process (VOB) for services. Key duties include preparing tenders, awarding contracts, controlling service agreements, coordinating statutory inspections, and resolving malfunctions to maintain system functionality. The ideal candidate must possess a technical qualification in electrical engineering (Technician or Master Electrician level), comprehensive knowledge of energy and building technology maintenance, and familiarity with technical standards (VDE, DIN) and public procurement law (VOB, HOAI). This role requires independent work, strong project management skills for smaller construction projects, and a commitment to sustainable and energy-optimized operations.
