Job Summary

This role is central to the technical maintenance and development of electrical systems and associated remote control technology, focusing on renewable energy infrastructure. The specialist will handle operational tasks, including planning, organizing, and executing maintenance and fault clearance on electrical systems such as substations, grid stations, and generation units (wind/PV). Key responsibilities involve complex fault diagnostics, coordinating third-party contractors, managing network shutdowns, and ensuring compliance with DIN VDE standards. Furthermore, the role requires expertise in SCADA integration and remote control technology, including setting up communication infrastructures, conducting signal tests, and developing remote control systems (VPN, routers, protocols). The ideal candidate must have a technical background in electrical engineering, profound knowledge of high and medium voltage technology, and strong skills in network and SCADA systems, coupled with significant travel readiness and high safety awareness.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical training (e.g., Electrical Technician, Master Craftsman) or a degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in handling circuit diagrams, fault diagnosis, and remote control technology
  • Professional experience in network technology, VPN, router configuration, and SCADA systems
  • Experience in the maintenance and fault clearance of electrical systems (substations, transfer stations, or transformer stations) (advantageous)
  • Experience with switching authorization for medium or high voltage (advantageous)
