Job Summary

This role requires an independent Service Technician to handle the inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair of complex electronic and building technology systems in Essen. Day-to-day tasks include proactive troubleshooting, optimization of operational processes, and ensuring compliance with current regulations, including the independent testing of portable and fixed systems according to DGUV V3. All activities must be digitally documented using mobile devices. Candidates must possess technical training in the electrical engineering field (e.g., as an Electronics Technician or Electrician) and demonstrate a customer-oriented, reliable, and highly independent work ethic. While initial professional experience is preferred, entry-level professionals are welcome. The position offers an unrestricted, secure full-time contract, flexible working hours, up to 35 vacation days, and opportunities for continuous professional development via the SPIE Academy.
