Job Summary

This full-time role seeks an Electrical Hardware Planner specializing in EPLAN for industrial automation and automotive projects based in Dachau. The core responsibilities include the creation of detailed electrical circuit, terminal, and assembly plans, along with parts lists, utilizing EPLAN Electric P8. You will be responsible for the design and specification of control cabinets, field distribution boxes, and installation components, ensuring strict adherence to space constraints, EMC requirements, and relevant industrial standards like VDE and DIN EN. The role also involves supporting quotation calculations by estimating material and planning efforts, and coordinating technically with other departments. Key qualifications include completed vocational training or a Technician/Master qualification in electrical engineering, multi-year experience in hardware planning, and fluent German skills. Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in hardware planning
  • Experience in industrial plants or building automation environments is preferred
  • Secure handling and proficiency with EPLAN Electric P8
  • Experience in structuring projects using functional identification (e.g., IEC/EN 81346)
  • Knowledge of common fieldbus systems (PROFINET, Profibus) in hardware planning
  • Practical experience in industrial electrical assembly (control cabinet connection, field installation, wiring)
  • Experience with BMW Smart Automation Suite (SAS)
