Job Summary

Schmitt Engineering is seeking a dedicated Commissioning Technician to join their team in Forchheim, supporting comprehensive technical expertise across industrial projects. This role involves crucial day-to-day tasks focused on the setup, conversion, and commissioning of complex testing facilities and production machinery. Key responsibilities include the initial and final maintenance of production machines, detailed documentation of work progress, and the professional assembly and disassembly of electrical manufacturing systems. The technician will actively participate in daily planning sessions and be responsible for effective troubleshooting and fault rectification across existing and new installations. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Technician in Electrical Engineering or comparable expertise, coupled with professional experience in both commissioning processes and the construction of special-purpose machinery. Strong German language skills (B2+ level) are essential, as German is the primary working language for project execution. This position offers an unlimited contract and exposure to high-technology projects.
