Job Summary

The Federal City of Bonn is seeking an Electronics Technician specializing in Operational Technology, Automation Technology, Energy Systems, or Measurement and Control Technology for a permanent, full-time position within the Civil Engineering Department's electrical workshop at the Salierweg wastewater treatment plant. This critical role involves the operational maintenance and functional monitoring of electro-technical systems essential for wastewater management. Key daily tasks include troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting faults in various electrical components, performing maintenance and calibration of measuring devices, and switching medium-voltage switchgear. A significant part of the job involves programming and troubleshooting existing PLCs and process control systems, as well as supervising external contractors during construction projects related to electrical and power supply systems. Candidates must possess a completed electro-technical apprenticeship in a relevant field, a Class B driving license, and fluent German proficiency, especially for internal safety communication and external management.
