Job Summary

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing data acquisition processes from laboratory equipment and experiments, ensuring adherence to FAIR data standards. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data acquisition protocols and models for processing and analyzing scientific data. This position involves close collaboration with laboratory experts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to identify and implement data-related requirements. You will also monitor, optimize, and document data pipelines and storage solutions to ensure efficient workflows, while safeguarding data integrity and privacy. A key aspect of the role is promoting the automation of digital processes as a "Digital Workflow Developer" to create innovative and efficient workflows, contributing to continuous development within a dynamic environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or Life Sciences with a focus on Data Engineering, or a relevant vocational training.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Professional experience with Python and SQL, including working with REST-APIs
  • Conceptual understanding of data aggregation and alignment
  • Experience in Biologics (ideally)
