This fixed-term, full-time Research Associate position at Ruhr University Bochum focuses on developing robust security solutions for future mobile communication systems, specifically 5G/6G campus networks. The role involves the conception, development, and integration of advanced security mechanisms, validating these procedures using a hybrid digital twin environment, and designing methods to secure dynamic network architectures. You will be responsible for conducting research into the security of future mobile networks, publishing scientific findings, presenting research at international conferences, and supporting knowledge transfer initiatives with industry partners. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant technical field such as IT Security, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of communication systems, network security, or cryptography.
