Job Summary

This crucial role seeks a dedicated Metrology Technician responsible for the design, integration, and optimization of measuring stations and automated systems. Key daily tasks involve planning and laying out measuring stations, integrating them into existing infrastructure, and independently manufacturing and assembling simpler units. A core function is the programming of PLC controls, robots, and developing specialized software for measurement systems. The technician will also optimize processes on testing and assembly machines, provide technical support, and coordinate closely with suppliers during the introduction of new automation equipment. Candidates must hold either a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with at least three years of professional experience, or equivalent technical vocational training coupled with a Technician or Master Craftsman qualification. Essential requirements include foundational knowledge in testing and measurement technology, particularly optical fault detection, along with basic manufacturing and assembly skills.
