Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous functionality and safety of critical IT-supported operational systems within Germany's competence center for radioactive waste management. The technician will be responsible for the continuous testing, maintenance, installation, and setup of both networked and non-networked facilities at the Biblis site, including essential technical systems like crane and PLC controls. A key component of the job involves supporting IT security implementation, managing access control, and maintaining accurate asset and inventory lists, alongside creating and updating all necessary system, operational, and safety documentation. Candidates must possess a completed electro-technical specialization, such as an Electronics Technician for Operational Technology, coupled with solid professional experience in handling Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs, e.g., Siemens Simatic S7) and operational IT applications.
