Job Summary

This role involves maintaining the highest safety standards for the interim storage of radioactive waste as part of Germany's center of competence for nuclear waste management. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the continuous testing, maintenance, installation, and setup of IT-supported operational systems, both networked and non-networked, at the Gorleben site. Key daily tasks include operating and servicing technical facilities like crane and PLC controls, assisting with IT security implementation, and managing access control and asset inventories. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Automation Technician, possesses fundamental professional experience with PLCs (e.g., Siemens Simatic S7), and has knowledge of fault detection and maintenance of technical systems. Education
