Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of IT-supported operational systems and networked/non-networked facilities at the Grafenrheinfeld site, supporting Germany's mission for sustainable nuclear waste disposal. The technician will be responsible for testing, installing, and maintaining technical systems, including crane and PLC controls (like Siemens Simatic S7). Key responsibilities also include contributing to IT security implementation, managing access control, maintaining asset/inventory lists, and creating comprehensive system documentation. Candidates must have a completed technical education (e.g., Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Automation Technician) and possess professional experience with PLCs and operational IT applications.
