Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of critical IT-supported operational systems and networked/non-networked facilities at a site dedicated to the safe interim storage of radioactive waste. The technician will be responsible for testing, installing, and maintaining technical systems, including crane controls and PLC systems (such as Siemens Simatic S7). A key part of the job is contributing to IT security implementation, managing access controls, and maintaining detailed asset and inventory lists. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Automation Technician, possesses broad IT knowledge, and has fundamental professional experience with PLCs and operational IT applications.
