This role involves maintaining and optimizing critical IT-supported operational systems within Germany's competence center for handling radioactive waste. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the continuous inspection, maintenance, installation, and setup of networked and non-networked systems, including specialized equipment like crane controls and PLC systems. A key aspect of the job is ensuring IT security compliance, managing access controls, and maintaining detailed asset and inventory lists, alongside creating and updating system documentation. The ideal candidate holds a qualification in operational electronics or automation technology, possesses strong IT knowledge, and has professional experience with PLCs (e.g., Siemens Simatic S7). This position offers a stable, permanent contract with a federal German company focused on essential, high-security nuclear disposal infrastructure, requiring on-site work due to the use of offline, isolated systems.
