Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation, maintenance, and installation of IT-supported operational systems and networked/non-networked equipment within a critical facility focused on the safe interim storage of radioactive waste. The technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining technical systems such as crane controls and PLC systems (e.g., Siemens Simatic S7). Key daily tasks include troubleshooting, system testing, maintaining access management, updating asset/inventory lists, and contributing to IT security implementation. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Automation Technician, possesses broad IT knowledge, and has professional experience with PLCs and operational IT applications.
