Job Summary

This role is critical for ensuring the high safety standards required in the storage of radioactive waste, working for a growing federal company in Stadland, Germany. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the continuous testing, maintenance, installation, and setup of IT-supported operational systems, including networked and non-networked equipment such as crane and PLC controls. A key part of the job involves contributing to IT security implementation, managing access controls, and meticulously maintaining asset and inventory lists. Candidates must also create and update comprehensive system descriptions, operational documentation, and safety documentation. The ideal professional holds a degree or training as an Industrial Electrician or Automation Technician, possesses broad IT knowledge, and has solid professional experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), particularly Siemens Simatic S7. This position requires a willingness to work on-site due to the nature of the offline systems used and offers an unlimited contract within a highly secure and essential sector.
