Job Summary

This role requires a highly engaged Maintenance Software Test Engineer to contribute to critical military aircraft programs, specifically supporting AIRBUS Defence and Space in Manching. The core responsibilities involve the full lifecycle development of centralized maintenance and recording systems and software for the Eurofighter and future military aircraft. Key tasks include specifying, designing, developing, rigorously testing, qualifying, and generating necessary certification evidence for maintenance system components and associated software. Furthermore, the engineer provides essential system engineering support during the integration of these systems into the aircraft, supporting the build line, flight testing, and subsequent maintenance, repair, overhaul, and retrofit programs. Candidates must possess a university degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, or Software Engineering, mandatory experience in embedded software development and safety analysis, and the ability to work accurately and reliably within an existing team.
