Job Summary

This role involves joining the service team responsible for the future offshore operations of the Nordlicht Offshore Wind Farm, which features 112 state-of-the-art 15 MW V236 wind turbines. The technician will work in a team of three or more, ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of these massive electrical and mechanical systems. Key daily responsibilities include performing maintenance, inspections, repairs, and the replacement of turbine components, while strictly adhering to health and safety regulations and accurately recording work time and materials. Candidates must possess a completed apprenticeship as an Electrician or Electrical Installer, professional experience with complex electrical or mechanical systems, and strong foundational knowledge of medium or high-voltage systems. The position requires good proficiency in both German and English, a strong safety awareness, and the readiness to work offshore and at great heights. This permanent position offers a highly attractive 14/14 rotation model, intensive onboarding, continuous professional development at the Vestas Academy (including qualification as a skilled electrical worker), and modern accommodation on a Service Operations Vessel (SOV) complete with full catering and recreational facilities.
