Job Summary

This full-time role in Saarlouis requires an IT Specialist to join the hardware team within a logistics and freight forwarding company. The specialist will be responsible for the comprehensive management and maintenance of the company’s internal IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and all end devices (PCs, printers, routers, vehicle scanners). Key duties involve administering various servers, managing the Exchange Server, Active Directory file server, and ensuring data backup. Furthermore, the role covers the procurement of hardware and system software, managing repairs, and serving as the primary point of contact for employee IT support and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate holds a vocational qualification in System Integration or equivalent professional experience, coupled with strong Microsoft Office application skills, and must be reliable and available during system disruptions.
