Job Summary

This role supports uni-assist's vital mission of pre-screening international university applications by providing essential IT support to member universities. Day-to-day responsibilities include informing, advising, and assisting member institutions on the technical base functions of the uni-assist portals. The specialist will manage the technical support lifecycle, handling, categorizing, and prioritizing inquiries, application problems, and error reports received via email, phone, and ticketing systems like JIRA. A key function involves documenting, analyzing, and evaluating support requests to continuously optimize business processes and service quality in collaboration with team leadership. The position requires a university degree with an IT focus or equivalent qualification, relevant professional experience in higher education admissions, and excellent communication skills in both German and English. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree with an IT focus, or certified training as an IT Specialist, or comparable professional qualification.

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in (international) university admissions or other educational sectors
  • Professional experience in service-oriented roles
  • Several years of qualified professional experience (if substituting formal education)
