Job Summary
This role seeks an Environmental Technologist specializing in Circular and Waste Management to join the Bundeswehr's Facility Management team. The core responsibilities involve ensuring compliance with all relevant legal provisions by identifying and classifying various waste streams, and providing expert consultation to internal stakeholders on waste management practices. A significant part of the job includes developing waste-related concepts, manuals, and disposal instructions, as well as diligently recognizing, documenting, and supervising the safe acceptance and handling of hazardous waste. The position requires high mobility to oversee multiple waste collection points across the jurisdiction (Stadtallendorf and Rosbach v.d. Höhe). Candidates must possess vocational training in Environmental or Waste Management, coupled with proven knowledge of hazardous waste handling, basic laboratory analysis, and dangerous goods regulations.
