Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly established public transport company, Verkehrsgesellschaft Kreis Herford GmbH, as an IT System Integration Specialist. You will play a crucial role in building modern IT structures from the ground up, shaping the company’s future processes. Day-to-day responsibilities involve providing essential First Level Support and Client Management for colleagues, while also acting as the key liaison for the external IT service provider. A major focus of the role is the technical integration and support of systems specific to public transport, including managing a Business Intelligence (BI) system and ensuring seamless IT connectivity for the bus fleet's on-board computers. You will also be responsible for interface management, report automation, website maintenance, and driving the digitalization of core operational processes such as passenger information systems and workshop workflows. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent professional experience, coupled with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in mastering public transport IT specifics.
