Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Project Manager and technical lead for the planning, control, and quality assurance of new construction, expansion, and maintenance projects on federal highways (Autobahn), covering service phases 1-7 of the HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers). The successful candidate will coordinate all technical stakeholders, including engineering firms and internal departments, and be responsible for reviewing planning and design documents, including specialized contributions like soil reports and water rights assessments. Key responsibilities also include tendering and awarding planning services to external engineering offices, managing their coordination, and participating in contract execution. This position requires a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on road or traffic planning, strong German language skills (C1 minimum), and a willingness to travel within the regional branch area.
