Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various security systems, including Intruder Alarm Systems (EMA), Fire Alarm Systems (BMA), video surveillance, and access control technologies. The technician will be responsible for the physical mounting and wiring of components such as sensors, detectors, cameras, and control panels, ensuring all work adheres to relevant standards (e.g., DIN VDE 0833, EN 54). Day-to-day tasks include system programming, detailed documentation of work and testing protocols, and providing on-site customer support, including system training and technical consultation. This position requires a background in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field, foundational knowledge of IP-based network technology, and a commitment to high quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently within the Hamburg region, contributing to the expansion of state-of-the-art communication and safety infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the electrotechnical field (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Technician, Electrician for Energy and Building Technology) or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Experience with security systems (e.g., fire, intrusion, or video surveillance) is advantageous
  • Professional experience in an electrical engineering field is required
  • Willingness to undergo training in manufacturer-specific technology (e.g., Bosch, Honeywell, Telenot)
