IT Security Engineer (Firewall & Patch Management) | Data Engineer

Job Summary

This critical role focuses on the comprehensive administration and optimization of core IT security infrastructure, particularly Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall systems. The engineer will be responsible for implementing and continuously developing robust protective measures across servers, clients, and networks, ensuring the highest level of security integrity. Daily tasks include analyzing and resolving vulnerabilities in close collaboration with internal and external partners, managing security incidents (including root cause analysis), and developing security policies and processes. Key qualifications include a degree or vocational training in Computer Science or IT Security, several years of practical experience in the IT security field (ideally industrial), and strong knowledge of network security, Active Directory, and cloud services like Microsoft 365 or Azure.
